Donald Trump conducted a campaign for veterans near Drake University, in Des Moines, Iowa last month and stated that he had raised $6 million for the veterans and personally contributed $1 million and an additional $1.67 million has been raised online. The campaign officials are not giving the exact details as to how much will be donated to the veteran’s charities, but they have listed 22 organizations which will benefit.
Here are the few from the list:
- Disabled American Veterans Charitable Trust
- The Fisher House Foundation
- The Navy Seal Foundation
- American Hero Adventures
- Folds of Honor
- Homes of our Troops
- K9’s for warriors
- Liberty House
- Projects for Patriots
- 22 Kill
- Puppy Jake
- Warriors for Freedom
Yet the organizations listed by the fundraiser have not received the money. One of the Texas based “22 Kill” appeared on the stage along with Trump during the rally and praised him and his generosity.
The media has contacted all 22 organizations on the list - 13 were contacted, 9 organizations confirmed that they have not received any money yet.
Puppy Jake and Support Siouxland Soldiers received $1 million respectively. It is believed that a $1 million check will be given personally to Liberty House in New Hampshire. Several questions remain unanswered as to why only three organizations out of the 22 organizations have received funds and whether or not more than $3 million has been distributed?
