Who is Debbie Wasserman Schultz?

Debbie Wasserman Schultz is a politician in the US. She is a democrat within the House of Representatives from Florida. Debbie made her deepest mark on the political world in 2011 when she first assumed the role of Chairperson for the Democratic National Committee at the decision of President Barack Obama, as well as becoming a member of the US House of Representatives in 2013. Debbie Wasserman Schultz is a staunch representative of Planned Parenthood, as well as the National Jewish Democratic Council. Schultz even fought through instances of breast cancer while maintaining her political position, role, and prowess. Without skipping a beat, Schultz has climbed the political ladder as a representative of Florida, the state where she attended university, even though she is a native to New York.

Much conflict has surfaced in recent years about Schultz however, as she has reportedly drawn lines in the sand to keep her DN chairperson position, going so far as to reportedly prepare defenders to her position to create defenses related to her faith and gender, and has reportedly remained at odds with White House staff since her very onset to the Chairperson position. Andrew Bozek, NRSC spokesperson, has gone so far as to say “It’s rare in Washington for President Obama and Senate Republicans to agree, but we are all in agreement that Debbie Wasserman Schultz has been a terrible DNC chair and would make an even worse senate candidate.” With those around her revealing feelings like these, it’s hard to truly see who Debbie Wasserman Schultz is, but it is safe to say she has had a strong impact on the political landscape and climate of today, whether you feel that impact has been good or bad is an independent issue.
